Does the number on the scale equal progress?? 🤔 I get these photos a lot 😜🙃 📸
So, if losing weight or lowering Bodyfat is your goal then it’s certainly one of the ingredients but it’s not the entire recipe. That’s like saying you want a cake but left out the eggs or milk and only used the flour. Believe it or not the scale is very one sided, meaning that it only tells a part of the story.
What about your endurance or stamina, your strength, your Bodyfat percent lowering, your blood pressure and cholesterol lowering. The scale doesn’t really reflect these things specifically. So don’t get so tied to this one metric and think that it’s the end all be all to your progress. Every client that I measure we track….Bodyfat, Inches, Weight, Cardiovascular health (blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar with your general practitioner of course), & I even get them to take progress photos to visually see themselves changing! This makes a big difference at staying motivated towards those goals!
